Congratulations to the Lake Hamilton Power Band! The band competed this past week at Bands of America, Grand National Championships, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Grand National Championships is the single largest marching band competition in the country, with over 90 bands taking part this year. Lake Hamilton once again earned a 1st division rating, presenting an overall score of 78.2. We remain the only band from Arkansas to ever earn a 1st Division at Grand National Championships. In addition, The Power Band of Arkansas placed 9th overall in Class AA! We are so thankful to each and every member of the Lake Hamilton family for your support! Parents, community members, students, faculty, staff, and administration- there is simply not another band program in the state as embraced and encouraged by their school family as ours. Your next opportunity to see the Power Band in action will be at the Garland County Christmas parade December 8th. Middle School and Junior High Bands will present their Christmas Concert December 11th. High School and Beginning Band will present their Christmas Concert December 15th.
