Congratulations to the MHS Forensics team. This past weekend, Forensics competed at the State Forensics Festival Tournament at Wichita East and the 4A State Forensics Championship Tournament at Washburn Rural High School in Topeka. At State Festival, individual placements were: Levi L. received a 1 in Poetry, Joe R. and Lizzi H. received a 1 in Duet Acting and Dalton M. received 1’s in both Prose and Dramatic Interpretation. At the State Championship Tournament, individual placements were: Jonah S. took 3rd in Humorous Interpretation, Blake O. took 2nd in Prose, Baine D. took 2nd in Humorous Interpretation and Jonah S. and Baine D. are this year’s State Champions in Duet Acting. This strong showing set a new record for MHS Forensics in number of finalists at the State Tournament.
