What will you help make ABSURD in our life time? The same way that once upon a time people smoked on airplanes. 16D was a non-smoking seat, but 17D was a chimney. It seems absurd now, doesnt it? Some things I would like to make absurd... That we had so little reverence for life that we used to drive around in metal tanks and kill each other. That men get paid more than women for the same positions. That provider means the one who brings home the money versus the full picture of what it takes to co-create a home and a family. That marriage implies ownership of another. That it was ever illegal to collect rainwater because water was privatized and bloody precious profit was more important than life. That children should not be seen and heard. That elders are a burden instead of an asset. That there was ever more withholding than contribution to spite another. That the education system was mostly designed to crush creativity and reward obedience. That we created so much trash. That we dirtied the water over and over again. That there was ever a human being who didnt have a connection to the Earth or grow their own food. That there was ever a human being with more doubt than faith. That making a living and having a life were ever opposed. That a stranger was not just a friend we hadnt met yet. That we ever thought it was someone elses responsibility to make the world a more beautiful place. What will you make absurd?
