Thanksgiving Day – Prayer for our Nation. Almighty God, we acknowledge and give thanks to You our Creator. We are grateful for Your favor and protection over the United States of America – consecrated to you by our founding fathers. Save our nation Lord – in so many ways, we have lost our way. Have mercy on us Lord. Raise up Christian leaders within our government and bless them with Your special grace and wisdom to refute all their adversaries. May their voices be made loud and strong. May the powerful words of faith stated George Washington in 1789, become an inspirational reminder, for all people today, of the civil and religious liberty we are blessed with. We render thanks to You, Heavenly Father. “Thank you Lord, that our beloved nation, will keep the charge of the Lord our God, to walk in Your ways, to keep Your statues, Your commandments, Your ordinances and Your testimonies, according to what is written in the law of Moses that our nation will succeed in all that we do and wherever we turn. Lord, we pray that our nation will put aside all anger, wrath, malice, and slander from our mouths and that You will cause our nation to increase and abound in love for one another, so that You will establish our hearts blameless in holiness before You.
