Congratulations to the YMCA of the Brandywine Valley Association - TopicsExpress

Congratulations to the YMCA of the Brandywine Valley Association Gymnastics Team led by Donna Watters and her amazing staff. Twenty gymnasts excelled among 1,500 athletes at Nationals in Savannah, Georgia. Hayley Watters placed 19th Overall in the national championship division (making the coveted top 20 in the country) and 11th on the vault. The Prep Optional group took the top three spots in the All-Around (Hannah Ellingsworth, Delaney McGinn, Kristine Gilligan). Medals are also awarded for the top 10 on each event in the level categories. In total, the youth came home with 21 medals. These young ladies work hard all year round for personal enrichment, physical exercise, emotional fulfillment and the great spirit of wholesome competition. They are youth development role models for the other 390 children in the program and we are so very proud of all of them.
