Your story has power and can be used to help bring others to Jesus Your story has already had a impact on someone in your life! Your story matters! Dont just be filled with knowledge..... Share your knowledge ••••How To Make An Impact••••• The way you live your life can be the testimony you share with others The Bible says He knew you before you were ever conceived God invested a lot in you.... He sacrificed his son! Acts 20: 18-21 18 When they arrived, he said to them: You know how I lived the whole time I was with you, from the first day I came into the province of Asia. 19 I served the Lord with great humility and with tears, although I was severely tested by the plots of the Jews. 20 You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. 21 I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus. Look you have seen the way I live! -How would YOUR inner circle respond to this question? How would they judge you? People will always be critical Would you be an example to those closest to you? Did you live a life that was intentional and showed a passion for Jesus Christ? Would you leave a heritage of priority? Edward Kimbrall was a small church Sunday School teacher who followed Holy Spirit leading aNd a young man came to know Christ because of Mr Kimbrall obedience.. That young mans name was Dwight L Moody....Dr Moody reached many continents including Wilber Chapman who reached a baseball player who went on the pastor and led Billy Graham to Jesus Christ The first person probably thought his story didnt matter but each person followed the prompting of the Holy Spirit ••••Follow Your Passion•••• Use the passions you have to impact the lives of others! The media has portrayed passionate Christians as obnoxious Culture says dont rock the boat... dont embarrass yourself. The Bible says to use our story to help someone else who is going through something youve already been through Put our passion to telling others what Christ has done in your life Paul killed Christians -he was passionate about killing Christians. -once he met Jesus Christ his passion was to lead others to follow Jesus No matter of your PAST Jesus has already planned your FUTURE and plans on using your story from your past to help others in your future ••••Stay Focused••• Acts 20: 22-24 22 And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. 23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. 24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the gospel of Gods grace. Paul was telling people about how God has changed his life Are we too busy in our lives to listen to the Holy Spirit?..... Be still and listen. If your confidence is in the story of your life ...... Focus on the author not the story A significant life equals a singular focus on an eternal purpose ••••Be Ready For A Shift•••• If your passion and focus is on Jesus Christ then your life is going to shift The Holy Spirit will work on your life causing your priorities and friends to shift Doors will open, God will intersect you with people and Nos will become Yess Your going to see a shift because your going to allow Jesus Christ in your life You were not called by God to be average! He created you to leave a mark and to leave a legacy We are discouraged because we as a nation have taken God out of everything Your words have power! With the power of your story lives will be changed! ••••Closing Prayer•••• God what kind of impact will my story have? This is the year that God is going to move you from the back to the front. He is going to give you the confidence you need to tell your story! God says your life is coming into a shift! God has put you right where you need to be and where he needs you in his kingdom! God will give you the respect and credibility you need and through him you will have a voice. God wants to take all of your excuses and shortcoming and create a shift in your life. Because you live with purpose and credibility, He will take you beyond where you believe you can go. Because of your story and where youve come from lives are going to be changed!
