Connie and I attended a Peyton Manning lecture followed by a question and answer session last night on the OSU campus. It was funded by the student govt assoc. He spoke for 30 minutes from a prepared speech that he read from at times. It was a real good pep talk sort of mixed with a graduation type speech. His mannerisms are quite common, he has no air about him. The q & a was more fun and it lasted 30 minutes too. He was on stage 1 hour. Peyton runs a charity type organization that benefits a lot of kids. He does give back and pays it forward. What would you guess that his fee for speaking was ? How about $ 105,000 ? I have no idea if any of it goes to charity, that has not been mentioned and I assume that it is 100 % his decision.Yes, he did have expenses for coming to Oklahoma. OSU Students were admitted free and all others paid $10.00 each.
