Consistency is the key to success when it comes to achieving your fitness and health goals. You will continue to spin your wheels and be frustrated with your results unless you become consistent week in and week out. You dont have to smash or kill it every time you step foot in the gym, but do not form the habit of skipping workouts just because you arent feeling it that particular day....because then it becomes easier to just no go.
