Conspicuously absent from Ezra Levant’s synopsis of John - TopicsExpress

Conspicuously absent from Ezra Levant’s synopsis of John Kerry’s career misteps from 1971 forward was any mention of his disgraceful remarks regarding the Donetsk separatists in April 2014. Secretary of State Kerry said that: “During the past couple of days Jews in one of the cities [Donetsk] were sent letters that they should declare themselves as Jews. The letter also contained threats….By 2014, after all the lessons that history has presented to us, it is not just unacceptable. It is – absurd.” President Obama also weighed in, calling the pamphlets disgusting. Secretary of State Kerry was speaking about leaflets that accused the leaders of the Jewish community Ukraine of supporting the Bandera Junta, a strange accusation since Stepan Bandera’s UPA was guilty of Jewish pogroms during the Second World War. The letter was supposedly from Denis Pushilin, the Governor of the Donetsk People’s Republic, but it gives him a fake title, and a fake stamp of office. An officer in Russian uniform handing out these pamphlets, was also a fake, identified by people as a former funeral director in the town, guilty of extortion and other crimes. The story should never have been publicized, and Kerry has never apologized for slurring the reputation of Mr. Pushilin and his administration without reason. President Obama, if he had any integrity, would have fired his Secretary of State over this, but of course he is as bad as Kerry.
