Construction of the school is now complete, along with architectural detailing, stucco exterior and interior, concrete floor, blackboards, steel covers for windows and doors, and space for 150 additional students from surrounding villages. This building is the first of its kind, out in the bush, in the village of Zambougou. Now the funds are required to provide the school with desks and chairs for 3 new teachers, and 75 industrial-strength tables and benches, seating two students per desk. $8500 is now needed to purchase these products made in Mali. Since the inception of the Mali Assistance Project, all supplies and labor have benefited the Malian economy. We are seeking contributions to procure these items for the school.
