How Special and fortunate, is one to possess such a quality to that magnitude? Very fortunate indeed! Sadly enough, NOT many of us today possess anything good from the heart . Without a shadow of doubt your Dad was a force to be reckoned with. He would often say Connie, it is what it is meaning your Dad didnt sweat ANYTHING. He took life for what it was and kept it moving FORWARD. I marveled how he made moves like that. I battled everything i did in life and I realized one day that everything isnt for everybody,dont miss that yall. We are ALL placed here on earth equipped with our uniqueness and gifts to accomplish what Father God has specially designed for us. We never lose what was given to us by Father God. With that being said, It pleased many to see the love and support in respect to your Dads life and to his legacy. When your a friend to Alan Lott its a lifelong relationship. How thorough is that ? Mighty darn thorough OKAY! The man that met your Dad when he was 17 years old driving on Edge hill road going to WDAS radio station. He encountered how your dad was driving and swirling ever which way around him to get to the station. Then how Alan backed up and asked him his name and from that, history was made in thats mans career as a good one, just from your Dad touching base with him jolly on the spot as usual . If something like that had happened today a whole lot of cussing and fighting n maybe some shooting wouldve taken place. How about that . Everything happens for a reason,dont miss that either. Nevertheless,I was so touched by his remarks.A nice story. Thats what im trying to convey to yall. Your Dad had a special way of dealing with folk. Thats why everyone there at the memorial had mad love for your Dad and spoke so well of him. At the end of the day, take his legacy and run with it to the very end. It will sit well in your minds,bodies and souls. You can bank on that. I LOVED your Dad like a big brother I never had. He has helped me in many sudden situations that i appreciated whole-heartedly he never said no and was a GREAT role model towards my children. When you cry let it be tears of joy. He was one in a million for sure. I almost forget to mention that the Lott brothers ALL had impeccable taste in clothes and dressed to inpress. .Alan Lott job very well done my brother n law.I will love you forever,,,Thank you Father God for sharing him with us. RIP in paradise.
