Contest Announcement: The NFL Challenges Kids To Think Of New Ways to Stay Active! The NFL PLAY 60 Invention Contest is a national contest for kids ages 6-13 to use their imagination and develop new ways to stay active and healthy. The contest encourages kids to create a fun idea for a fitness focused game, equipment or football-themed training gear. Enter now to participate in the NFL PLAY 60 Invention Contest! The contest closes on July 12, 2013. Three finalists will win a trip to a Grand Prize event and have the opportunity to present their ideas to NFL VIPs. The Grand Prize winner will win $5,000 and the two runner-ups will receive $500. The NFL will also work with the Grand Prize Winner to bring their idea to life. Visit NFLRUSH/INVENT to learn more. Kids can visit the site to download fun activities to get them motivated and get those creative juices flowing! Also, volunteers can download the Facilitators Guide. The Guide will explain how to implement the program and stimulate interest in the contest.
