Context or no context, this provocative flyer in the hands of the less enlightened, can result in oppugnant actions in a nation already seeing questionable cat deaths all over Singapore, including Beach Road, Ang Mo Kio and Yishun, to mention a few. We would prefer the arts group, use the analogy of killing children or persons who have the greater power to question, rather than voiceless animals when we are already grappling with near-weekly injustice towards animals in Singapore.
