Continuations. Its my birthday in a few hours and I see there is a stream of ancestors that are a part of me; they are here with me in each breath. Many I dont know, but I know they are here. I honor them now. Two in particular are in my heart today that fill me with much gratitude for their love and care. My mom, who died at age 54 in 1998, brought me into this world in Jos, Nigeria as a young woman living in a foreign country. And will help to represent her this weekend for her mom, my Grandma, who died this week at age 92 in Abbotsford, BC. Thank you mom and grandma for being a part of who I am today. Feeling blessed to be a part of this strong continuation.
