Contra Costa Alumnae Chapter is going on our 1st International Community Service Tour to our adopted school - Nazaret School for children in Punta Cana, DR. We have worked to gather toiletries and school supplies, worked with our Delta Academy participants to make blankets, gathered Spanish speaking books, are beginning a pen pal project with our Delta GEMS and other service projects. In May we will take a delegation of our members to deliver these items to the children. We would love for any of our friends and family who are willing to travel to join us? We have chapter members departing SFO on both Saturday evening, May 17th and Sunday evening, May 18th, returning either Friday, May 23rd or Saturday, May 24th. We have worked with Shirley Hudson (contact information below) to put together a very reasonable tour package. She has stressed that deposits should be made soon as fees cannot be locked in until money is received. Oh and did I mention were going to have fun in the sun!!!
