Contrary to the sudden narrative of conservative media and the mainstream overall, no, President Obama did not lie about Obamacare. You can, in fact, keep your health care plan if you like your health care plan. What President Obama did not mention is that there will be no point in keeping your plan. If you keep your plan despite the fact, that is entirely your affair. This is coercion by definition. It is comparable to a case scenario where you owe somebody an amount of money. You make the payment, but then you hire somebody to steal the money again for you, then claim you had nothing to do with it. With regard to President Obama, to argue that he lied is technically incorrect. He was disingenuous, is what he was.
