Contrary to what #momsdemand wants you to believe, they did not win. Please do not fall for Shannons PR stunt. You need to realize Shannon wasnt going to lose this battle no matter what, and when Facebook said they dont sell anything, they were correct. Shannon and company wanted those pages and groups shut down, period. Facebook gave them another option and thats all they gave them. The pages are staying and Facebook has allowed us to police ourselves regarding this issue. Do you really think she was going to push them as hard as Staples, and Wal-Mart, and Starbucks? Without Facebook, Shannon is nothing. As far as age limits for viewing these groups and pages, well, were not mad at that at all. We only hope the same policy is enacted regarding many other pages on Facebook that are far more detrimental to our youth. Were keeping the petition open to signatures because something just tells me this isnt over. Keep calm and carry on, moms!
