Conversation I Had This Morning Me: Id like to cancel my cable television service. Cox Guy: Im sorry to hear that. Why are you canceling? Me: Its ruining our lives. Cox Guy: Its what? What do you mean? Me: Its not helping our family. We spend too much time watching television & not enough time making art and being outdoors. Cox: I see. Did you know you can put timers on it, to keep the kids from watching too much? Me: But see, I dont want to pay $100 a month to not use something. I would rather save that money to travel the world. I think if I add up all the time we spend watching TV when we could be learning new skills or earning money, that time could fund some pretty sweet adventures. Cox Guy: Sure but you are saving $70 a month by having the bundle. (This part goes one for a while) Me: Dude. Put that jazzy music back on, go pull the strings & push the buttons & dont come back til you have changed my shit. Cox Guy: Yes, maam.
