In Wednesdays video, we return to Central Park and walk by Tavern on the Green after sunset. Tavern on the Green is a Christmas sight year-round. It was a grand party place when it was owned by Warner LeRoy beginning in the mid-70s, but after he died it declined a bit. It is under new management now, and I dont know how good the food is, or if its now just another tourist trap. I think I might have eaten inside once years and years ago, but that could just be in my imagination (I do remember a scene in a movie with Angela Lansbury having lunch in Tavern on the Green). But from the outside, it is quite beautiful with the lights and tree.
