Conversation started today 8:41pm Ken Chua To: The Prime Minister Seeking for Clarification against Misuse of Long-term Social Visit Pass & Student Pass Dear Sir, I wish to bring to Your immediate attention someone whom I’ve previously reported and complained the matter to CPIB for their action. However, until today the matter seem led to nowhere! I am just wondering as to why there has not been any action taken? The someone to whom I have known for the past 3 Years and am fully aware of the fact that he has a lawful wife and a son staying in Bedok North but on the other end also had an underground PRC mistress and a illegitimate son currently studying in Primary One in the Tampines area. Now, there are indeed many people legally married with foreign spouses but unable to secure a long term visit pass out there. This someone knew Our Laws’ loopholes very well and told me how he overcome it and he once told me these: “only those brainless couple ending up legally registered for marriage and later cannot gain entry and stay in Singapore!” I would like to share how he gained and succeeded from it. He told me that this PRC girl he knew through his work of going to people’s homes for repairs job and him then became a pair and later gave birth to a son in PRC and his illegal-mate son came to Singapore in the Year 2009 December and studied at Simei for Nursery, K1 and 2 Next, I asked him how he applied a pass for both of them to stay in Singapore. He replied to me that with money he can make someone sponsor on his behalf without having to fear the authority, so I personally went down to the ICA to enquire about it and even got myself a checklist and as I went through the checklist form and I myself find it very easy to sponsor a PRC in Singapore indeed. Throughout the past 3 Years we have been having dinner 3 to 5 nights per week and I can see the boy keep calling him: “Daddy”. But, when I goes to the CPIB, the officer want me to Proof their relationship before they take any action to it. I did suggest to the concern CPIB Officer that she can follow or tail him to catch them red handed. It seems that the officer is not interested in this type of “crime”. My main point is that although I do agree that having a mistress or illegitimate child warrants no crime, he is using the loopholes in Our Good Law to firstly, engage in polygamy and secondly, ensure his underground PRC mistress and illegitimate son a long term stay in Singapore through the excessively lenient sponsorship/guarantor process of applying for the stay of a PRC.
