Conversation that just happened: K.D., I think the idea of many ways of getting to heaven is nice and tolerant. But I dont see how it makes sense. The Jews believe were still waiting for The Messiah, muslims believe in Jesus as a prophet but not the son of God. I believe the Bible calls Jesus the Son of God and the Messiah. Others still believe I can achieve God within. Some of these clash with each other and command different things of us. Some based on works where you can wonder your whole life if youve been good enough. They are mutually exclusive. --- Me: K.D., IMO, youre missing the forest for the trees. People experience salvation when they follow the Way, teachings, and example of Jesus - even if theyve never heard of Jesus. If people are forgiving others, extending radical hospitality, loving unconditionally, offering mercy, and pursuing reconciliation and restorative justice, they *are* following Jesus way and experience salvation/wholeness. - Roger Wolsey
