Coolangatta police are continuing their efforts to try and locate the owner of a maroon-coloured pouch that was left at a business in Coolangatta on June 24, 2014. At around 9.30am, an elderly woman left two bags of clothing donations at a Griffith Street charity store. As volunteers went through the items, they located the maroon-coloured pouch with a significant amount of money located inside. Police are now releasing images of distinctive clothing that was also donated at the same time that may help lead them to the owner of the pouch. If you recognise this pouch or the clothing, or have any other information that could assist police find its owner, police urge you to contact Crime Stoppers, Policelink or Coolangatta Police Station.
