Cope leader Mosiuoa Lekota defended EFF leader Julius Malema at the weekend, saying his income source needed to be revealed,according to a report. They say Julius owes R16 million in tax, Lekota told supporters at the launch of the partys election manifesto in Bloemfontein on Sunday, The Star reported on Monday. How does he owe tax of R16 million? How much were they paying him?... You see, they tell us he owed that money, but they dont tell us what was the source of income, where did he get such amounts of money to owe that amount. He claimed that those controlling the government had stolen the money and put it in Malemas name, leading to the unpaid tax allegations against him. He is a young, innocent person who didnt know... It is sad that the men and women with whom he entrusted his life did what they did to him.
