Copied from the RAFF site. Michael Neary was born and bred in Chipping, Lancashire. He is a field drainage contractor, keen to maintain traditional systems. His special concern is water. He recited this poem at the Longridge meeting organised by Frack Off, and has given us permission to reproduce it. Holy Water by William Michael Neary From where the Holy springs run clear, Down on the Fylde coast sir. The drilling rigs are setting up, There’s nothing they don’t dare. Where greed and money mingle in, And taint our precious source. Then left are we with satans’ soup, Not fit for sheep nor horse.
