Yesterday, Keith Griffith and Lauren Bergeron participated in the North Mobile Special Olympics. Lauren Bergeron placed 5th in the 100-Meter Dash, 4th in the Standing Long Jump and 3rd in the Softball Throw. Keith Griffith placed 4th in the 100-Meter Dash, 3rd in the Standing Long Jump, and 2nd in the Softball throw. Congratulations Lauren and Keith on your victories! Congratulations to the boys and girls tennis teams for their victories over Bryant yesterday. On the boys side: singles winners were Zach Phillips, Trey Huggins, Zak Stringer, and Connor Stewart. Doubles winners were Zach Phillips and Garrett Miller, and Umanj Patel and Blakely Miles. Girls singles winners were Hannah Buchanan, Madison Green, and Mady Caffman. Doubles winners were Hannah Buchanan and Molly Wiggins, and Jordan Lollar and Madison Green. The Bishop Welding scholarship deadline to turn in is April 15th. Mrs. Smith has the application for the Community Education Scholarship. Please see her for the application. The deadline to apply is April 25th. The Optimist Club is accepting applications for two citizenship scholarships. One scholarship will be awarded to a young man and one to a young lady. The deadline to apply is April 18th. The deadline to apply for the Alabama Lions Opportunities for Youth Fund Scholarship is April 15th.
