Copied without permission; SHE WROTE LIKE IN AN OPEN RELATIONSHIP & NOT IN A CLOSED RELATIONSHIP I was forced to search my mind & immediately thought of seeking the meaning with my google-search-engine . Eish ! to my surprise the OPEN-RELATIONSHIP status translated into the one based on contract ; where none of the two parties would ever question the other if you are caught with another lady or gent . This to me meant its a futureless relationship & only embedded there for financial , psychosocial , physiological fulfilment as far as life style is concerned. Still thought over it further , & i asked myself a question Do these colleagues displaying such stati know the meaning of this or else they think it means a relationship known to the public as promising & so have to let everybody know of it ? Yet , another question followed behind is this a way of showing th@ you really love your partner to the bone ? .It did not end there , i said again is it a tchingila-strategy to bar-off other suitors ? MY CONCLUSION Most of us just write for the sake of writing because we copy from others who have ever written already about th@ without searching wh@ it really means. In Malawi culturally , we are not yet to th@ extent of publicising a relationship th@ would end to nowhere destiny. Imagine the b/f or the g/f , relatives , parents seeing th@ on our walls : wh@ picture would they perceive of us ?.... I propose from today onwards , those in serious relationships please write in a closed relationship .....anhaaaa ! th@ would carry the real meaning of LOVE in a Malawian context.
