The plight of the forgotten Sioux Tribes of Standing Rock and Cheyenne River Reservations in north central South Dakota has deeply affected me. The poverty, despair, high suicide rate, and emotional wounds run deep there. Since 2011, I have been traveling regularly to the area providing clothing and aid in various ways to help those in want. After spending time on Tribal Radio station KLND in McLaughlin SD taking calls, I was surprised that the need of First Nation people of Standing Rock and Cheyenne River Reservations consisted of dental hygiene products, diapers, and depends. So I am in the midst of a donation drive to gather these products. Thanks to many local dentist offices, I have collected many tooth brushes, dental floss, toothpaste, mouthwash. I now have need to collect finances for the diapers, depends, and transportation cost. So I ask can you help?
