Corporal punishment of children - I do not have any children so I can only speak of my experience from a sons point of view. Some of my earliest memories are having the shit kicked out of me, slapped, hair pulled, kicked, thrown around, demeaned, degraded and abused by a very violent rage-aholic all under the guise of parent-child discipline. It laid the foundation for my default mode to be to do the opposite of what is expected of me and an extremely strained and eventually completely estranged irreconcilable relationship with my immediate family. Id think twice before raging and beating a child. Violence against weaker smaller beings i.e. children women and pets is wrong in every way.
