Corvette Caravan Day-2 Reno to Salt Lake City - 521 miles. Did a little work on a hole in my Vintage A/C duct. Nice patch thanks to duct tape. Smooth sailing until we were about 75 miles out of Salt Lake. A series of big booms and backfires as we drifted to the shoulder no power. Took a look and figured the coil arced to one of the plug wires. No harm. Back on the road. We did make a stop at the Wendover Airfield... the base where the Enola Gay flight crew trained to drop the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Place is frozen in time... including the original hanger where the secret project was launched... and barracks for the air crews. Surreal. Nice group photo... now were are more than 200.
