KUWAIT CITY, June 21: Two unidentified Public Security officers and an Egyptian national have been arrested for raping a Filipina woman inside her apartment in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area. The fourth suspect, an Egyptian national, is still missing and investigations are ongoing to find and arrest him. According to security sources, the victim had filed a case against four individuals at Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station, informing securitymen that the four suspects, two among whom were wearing military uniform, barged into her apartment and three of them had raped her. During interrogations with the arrested suspects, they confessed that they had raped the victim. The fourth suspect, who is missing, was present at the location at the time of the incident but did not rape the victim.Sources explained that the victim identified her attackers at the station after they were arrested, adding that the fourth suspect will be arrested soon. Steps are being taken to refer the suspects to Public Prosecution for necessary legal action against them.
