Cougars shutout CE King! Austin Hearn struck out eight and Sean Bergeron homered as Crosby rolled to a 7-0 win over C.E. King on Saturday. Hearn limited the Panthers to three hits over six innings of work as the Cougars cruised to the District 19-4A win. Bergeron hit a two-run blast to left field in the bottom of the third inning to make it 3-0 and knock in Mario Sequera. Nathan Gabryszwski added an RBI single later in the inning to add to the lead and make it 4-0. The Cougars would add more distance in the sixth inning by scoring on an error and a two-run double from Justin Cegielski to make it 7-0. Crosby will travel to C.E. King on Tuesday. Code Red!
