Could it be? After shattering records for filibusters the past 4 years now will something actually get done in the government? To put it in perspective, since the USA was formed almost 230 years ago there have only been 168 filibusters of appointments. 82 of those came from Republicans during the last 4 years alone. In the nearly 230 years of our country, only 23 supreme court nominees have been filibustered.....20 of which were in the past 4 years by Republicans. The Republican party wondering why nobody takes them serious should not be a mystery anymore, its like voting for someone to purposefully waste 4 years.
