Couldnt let Gene Krupas birthday pass without sharing something! This hot version of Shim-Me-Sha-Wabble is from the famous Eddie Condon New School concert in 1972, shortly before Krupa passed away. He was sick but plays like a man possessed throughout, especially on this number, which also features Kenny Daverns soaring soprano saxophone and Dick Wellstoods romping piano.
