County Indoors Underage County Indoors in Nenagh saw a large entry on Saturday last, our first involvement of the day was in the U9 Boys relay who won their heat and went on to finish 2nd in the final with very impressive running from the boys, to follow this up Michael Brosnahan and Adam Murphy both finished 3rd in their 300m finals with a great performance as well from Oran Kelly, Michael and Adam also made it to the final of the 60m. Our U11 Girls had a great race and finished 3rd in the heat of their 4x100m relay and were unlucky not to make the final, Keelan Fahy and Molly O Brien then competed in the U10 Girls 500m both running really well and Keelan finished 5th, they also competed very well in the 60m and long jump. Hannah Cremin and Shonagh Mullane had some great races in the U11 Girls 600m with Hannah going on to take 5th place in the final, Hannah also ran very well in the 60m. The U11 Boys relay ran an excellent race and finished 4th in the final, Jack Cremin and Sean Geraghty then ran in the U11 600m and competed excellently in the tough competition with Sean finishing in 5th place, Sean also ran well in the 60m. Tim Lyons, Luke Sheehan and Ben Curtin ran really well in the U10 500m and also in the 60m. Also running in the U10 relay and finishing 4th. Chloe Brosnahan had a fantastic run in the U12 Girls 600m finishing 2nd. Ellie Lyons had a great run in the U13 Girls 600m. Grace O Donnell ran a brilliant race in the U15 Girls 800m finishing 2nd and also got 3rd place in the Shot Putt. Well done to everyone who competed on the day its great to see so many competing in the West Limerick colours.
