County: More gas drilling funds go to parks November 7, 2014 By NICO SALVATORI (nsalvatori@sungazette), Williamsport Sun-Gazette Lycoming County commissioners on Thursday approved $88,000 of gas drilling impact fees for projects at six county parks. It was the second time in recent weeks that commissioners allocated impact fees for such projects due to a mini-grant program established by the county to revitalize 21 parks. The number of parks for which funding has been approved now totals 15. The remaining allocations are expected in the coming weeks, according to Bill Kelly, deputy director of the county department of planning and community development.
