Couple of people asked for the chocolate shortie biscuit recipe on Sunday so here it is ! 125g ( 4oz ) butter 50g ( 2oz ) soft brown sugar 125g ( 4oz ) self raising flour 2 tablespoons cocoa powder Beat fat and sugar til light and fluffy. Sift in in flour and cocoa and mix well. Using dampened hands form into balls ( bout size of walnuts ) and place on greased baking sheets. Flatten into biscuit shape with fork. Bake in moderate oven 190C ( 375F ) Gas mark 5, 10 to 15 mins. Leave on baking sheets for 2 mins. Then transfer to wire rack to cool. Simples !
