Couple weeks back Jake and Dean had the pleasure of kitting out the interior of a teeny space for a lovely lady called Jill. She had bought a shepherds hut that had been designed and built far far superior to some of the ten-a-penny crap shacks some cowboys are smashing out. Hats off to Dave from Glastonbury burners who crafted this beauty from scratch. The House-Box boys were brought in to rejuvenate a lovely old dresser (in which we found a ration stamp for some wool!), we also made a bed with integrated storage finished in chalk paint, beaten and waxed; some shelves from sequoia with wrought iron brackets; a bespoke table with decorative metal legs and a super smooth spalted beech top with crystal resin infill; and fitting a Glastonbury Griffen burner- the metal heat shielding of which has been treated with more perculier chemicals than one would find cleaning up the Dance village at Glastonbury on the Monday morning.
