Courtesy to B. Henderson, my ultra-liberal English professor in college, I was pro-war prior to understanding that the Presidents lied to The American People, etc. I did one of my research papers on Daniel Ellsberg and The Pentagon Papers, and his leaking to the press of the bad intentions of the Nixon presidency and the never ending war. With this, and the viewing of The Mai Lai Massacre story in detail, and seeing the Pulitzer Prize winning photo of the Napalm Girl, (look it up--consequences of chemical burns from war--on a young girl in foreign country) and understanding of the oil and greed behind war--combined with my free-spirit and open-mind---I came to understand the power of Journalism. A young woman in my class, Rachel, with pulp-fiction type bangs and black hair, red lipstick and glasses, she taught our class with passion--when we had a chance to lead each other into being educated about certain topics. Her passions were hatred for oil companies, using/making biodiesel, hatred for war, & intolerance toward big corporations. And, of course, there were a lot of people from different backgrounds in that class--ones whose families owned farms, had different faiths, etc. But Rachel became my hero--and since and before that time I had had ideas on what needed change in the world--but there was definitely a shift when I met her. The aspiring Journalist who hated war with a burning blue fire in her eyes, while I was listening to Michael Savage and taking his approach as a Conservative, I can now see the truth that Michael Savage takes on The Middle East and his graphic evidence of torture in that place, and still see him as an amazing Talk Show Host himself, but also recognize his distaste for Liberals is not totally founded, because the hearts of the 1970s Liberals are much different than Liberal in Big Government or Lobbyists. So--many times I have served as a type of mediator, among political parties--never watered-down in my own views, but always knowing that things are more complicated than they appear, but that We Can Work It Out, as The Beatles said--not to quote anything Biblical, because I can only speak from a human perspective, here. Nevertheless, here it is--perhaps the only positive contribution The Rolling Stones had to anything, simply because they were so into devil-mentality, and leading the pack into it, that they stopped and bothered to speak a message of peace and not war, to be high-jacked from them and infused with war pictures that you will not see on the news, but you will see on this video. And since that time, many war crimes have occurred no doubt, but here is a small sneak-peak into what really goes on in times of war. From someone like myself who is, as always, Conservative on some issues, Liberal on others, as it should be---NOT DOWN FOR WAR. https://youtube/watch?v=R3rnxQBizoU
