Courtney Harge, I finally finished reading the excellent piece on reparations, by The Atlantic. While I can agree with the storyline of the article, I am reluctant to say paying reparations to one ethnicity over another is the way ahead. In a civil society, is there no other pathway forward without emphasizing race and race history? As an alternative, I submit the idea of focusing on universal education as opposed to reparations in specific. What if we made schools, all schools, better? Would this not achieve the same goals?
