Cow killers are Irreligious Cow killers are most irreligious based on Vedic knowledge. The Most Recent Words of God “Cow-killers are condemned to rot in hellish life for as many thousands of years as there are hairs on the body of the cow.” (Lord Caitanya, Sri Caitanya-caritamrta Adi-Lila 17.166) The above words are from Lord Krishna himself just 500 hundred years ago. Lord Caitanya was an incarnation of Lord Krishna and his teachings are the most recent teachings from God in person. God does not hide in a cave or mountain and deliver his message through others. He comes in person and delivers his message from his own mouth. “If a cow is consciously killed, there is no penance that is adequate.” (Kurma Purana, 12.30 Rituals) The Kurma Purana has a list of penances that can be followed to atone for sinful actions, but there are no penances that would atone for killing a cow, they will be severely punished as stated above by Lord Caitanya.
