Craig Ferguson’s final show this past week was eclipsed by Stephen Colbert’s. Ive always liked Ferguson, but since I’m not one to watch late night talk shows, Ive only watched him a few times. He’s the only one who comes across as a real (and very likable) person. I had no idea his last show was Friday. Luckily, I happened to have it on. I had my back to the TV when it started, and I wasnt paying any attention. I saw later on Youtube, the opening started with a video using the song Bang Your Drum by the Scottish group Dead Man Fall. It was populated by celebrity cameos and Craig was lip syncing. Two minutes into it, something caught my attention and I turned around. At two minutes, the recorded portion seamlessly segued into a live portion done on the set, with Craig singing. It was awesome. Really awesome.
