Craig family legend has it that once upon a time, my dad was in the checkout line at the grocery store purchasing a very odd assortment of products. The checkout girl, apparently blessed with a delightfully demented sense of humor, glanced back and forth from the bizarre array on her conveyor to my dads face. Clearly unable to contain herself for another minute she finally blurted out, Sir, I dont know where youre headed this evening but it looks like its gonna be one HELL of a party!. Well... this prompted a kind of game among my friends, coworkers, cohorts, partners in crime, a husband or 2, and even (on those occasions when there are 3000 Walmart customers and one register open) the random stranger in - you guessed it - the checkout line. SO. I challenge those among my delightfully demented friends who feel so inspired, to share a short list of 2+ items that, should someones mind have the tendency to - lets call it skate off the ice, could result in them drawing a funny and or sick-and- twisted correlation. Ill start. 1. GIANT Costco size can of refried beans and a 24 roll pack of toilet paper 2. KY and Cat food and finally.. Drumroll please.. A particularly esoteric choice IMHO: 3. Almond Roca and kitty litter. TAG, YOURE IT!! (LEE PONS, for some odd reason I have a feeling you in particular could knock this one outta the park. ALEX SAULT would probably ace it as well! STEVE KOLBUS??? give it a whirl???)
