Crawlspace (1986) David Schmoeller’s Crawlspace (1986) isn’t amazing but the wild Klaus Kinski performance and a great visual style elevates it beyond just being amongst scores of other forgettable slasher films. Had there been a Tom Savini type on board this could’ve been one of the better slashers of its time. There’s still some really cool stuff in there though. Plot Summery A man who runs an apartment house for women is the demented son of a Nazi surgeon who has the house equipped with secret passageways, hidden rooms and torture and murder devices.
