Craziest week. We put in an accepted offer on a house, but it turns out the walls are rotting so we had to walk away from a place the second time this month, we put an offer on an even better 3rd place that should be accepted by tomorrow morning, but I doubt Ill sleep tonight. Finally got my cheque today but its only $600, which I have to budget for gas to Oliver, hotel in Oliver, food and misc. to survive, maintenance fees for the new house ($350), and the trip to LA my parents bought me for my birthday. I really hope theres some birthday money in the mail. I really wanted to treat myself to a mani pedi but I guess thats out. Lastly, this Facebook page I set up on Saturday night, Miracle for Chloe, has blown up with nearly 1000 likes and over $3000 in donations which is freaking amazing! But then I start getting some... implying threats from people I dont know in Oliver saying what Im doing is illegal and if the CRA was called Id be in trouble. So I called CRA and Im doing nothing wrong or illegal as long as I keep records and receipts of transactions, but for my own personal sake of my student loan debt, I really would rather not go through an audit. All of these events going on Im being very responsible about, but my goodness they are stressful when all were meant with best intentions to be positive and drama free! I hope my birthday goes well and my friends in Oliver show up. Its now just two of us coming down on what was originally supposed to be 8. I cant blame my friends here because they have valid reasons for not coming, but I REALLY hope to have a good drama free time in Oliver this weekend, that would make up for everything. 😅 Things arent bad, just slightly stressful.
