Craziness of Division: Killing the cousin of Achiles was a fatal mistake for Hector. In the same way, killing Hector was a double mistake from the part of Achiles. Again when Achiles mistreated the dead body of Hector; that was a triple mistake from the part of Achiles. For this Achiles s own army revolted against him. The controversy over a dead body or a dead person is not a good symptom. We become aligned one way or other with some party. we have sharply divided ourselves with the issue of AL and BNP. Now we have become the advocates of either BNP or AL. In this way we are hiding some stark truth relating to birth of Bangladesh. Dr. Pias Karm was no doubt a wise man with vast knowledge of social science, international issues and Bangladesh issues too. Besides, he was an eloquent speaker in any situation; even, he used to take lead of his group when he was asked to lecture on a certain topic. But, in some his talk shows he stood against the war crime tribunal which infuriated a lot of people. So, till today he has to bear the burnt of hatred from that group who are in favour of war crime tribunal. Moreover, a rumour floats in the air that he came to Bangladesh for a certain mission though he was not ultimately able to fulfill it. Since the group with which he was align, failed to climb ladder of power. So, the reality of Bangladesh is that Dr. Pias karim is a hero to one group; on the other hand, he is a zero to other. But in a society where we belong to how long we will continue that sort of flow splitting ourselves. When a issue appears, we immediately position ourselves individually without judging oneself and others. Therefore, let us bring our sanity to reduce the rate of craziness of division.
