Crazy Guy at Humane Society - 42 (Puhi) age : 42 This happened Thursday afternoon, just as my children and I were at the shelter to adopt a dog. We watched the horror unfold. A man was screaming and yelling at the receptionist at the top of his lungs. They all looked to be in complete horror. A female humane officer came from the back and started to talk to the guy and try to calm him down but he kept yelling. I heard the officer tell the receptionist girls to call the cops and this crazy guy went off. Then a male officer came from the back and told the man to get out and call the cops. This crazy man charged right back into the shelter and clearly wanted to fight with someone. A customer near me yelled at him to shut up they looked as if they were going to fight another shelter employee got between them. At this time the shelter E.D. Pennie Cistaro came up front, she screamed very angerly to the female officer who was just protecting her employees and her and the male officer took the guy outside. After they took the man outside she left her male officer alone with him and came back into the shelter. I ask the receptionist where are the police and they told me that their Executive Director canceled the call. I thought to myself why would you cancel a call for help when this man we screaming and yelling at your employees? This man was irate and belligerent yelling at the female officer I know how to take care of you. I feel really sorry for the employees at the shelter it is really obvious Ms. Cistaro that you care nothing of your own employees well being. A man threatens to hurt your employees in your own presents and tries to fight with another customer you leave another employee outside by himself with this very man. And you CANCEL the call for help?!!!!!! I really hope that a board member see this post because what I witnessed that day was truly horrific. A boss who did nothing to protect her employees or the customers involved. Shame on you Ms. Cistaro!!!!! Shame on You!!!!! If board member sees this. Is this the kind of person you want running the Shelter? The lack of her actions will get someone killed. This was truly unbelievable!!!!!!
