* Crazy You-Crazy Me * At 12:30 in noon.. Lets go for shopping. What you say? She said and winked. Are you okay? Shopping ? Now? :O Dont you think its raining heavily outside? I said making a face. So what? I need to get something. Its urgent you see. Lets go. Telling this she diverted her eyes from me to the window.. Did you see the weather ^-^ Its amazing! She said with twinkling eyes. So you want to roam ? Right ? I said in confusion Yes. The reply came. Have you gone insane? I said.. still in shock of what she is saying. Stop your interrogation and take your keys. Now! Its an order you see and you cant deny honey She said with power. I took out the car keys and .. there she stopped again. You two-wheeler keys dear She said pointing at the keys. I wont. Either its a car or its a NO! I replied with little anger. Its a two-wheeler and a Yes I gave up. With those two wheeler keys we left. No umbrella and no rain-coats too. She ordered. I was driving with those big drops falling on me from sky giving me pain. It was like someone piercing needle. I saw from the rare mirror.. she was laughing and enjoying the rain. I smiled :) I took her to the respected shop she asked me to drive to. I did accordingly. Shopping was just an excuse. We both were drenched fully by now. I was walking out of the shop and was heading towards my vehicle again. I looked back .. She was not in the sight. I ran to see her, and there she was in the ice-cream par-lour next to the shop. Mom I shouted. Yes, she was my mom! Two butter-scotch on the large cone she ordered. Itni thandi me.. :O where we are already shivering, you want to have an ice cream? This is life sweetheart ;) She said and laughed. Damn! This lady is just a 10 year old girl. I thought. I smiled. I loved her for what she is and how crazy and silly she act at times. WE had our ice-cream. She ordered her next flavor. I dint said anything this time.. instead i enjoyed it with her. She seemed like the happiest child on this earth. She had a die-hard craze for rains. At times she would just step out of home without any reason just to enjoy rain. Imagining a mother of 40+ doing like that seems crazy? yeah? She is. That day we danced, we sang, we roamed around the city and we enjoyed from the core till the clouds in the sky were done with he amount of water they had. I hugged her tight and thanked her for the best time i had. I realized that yes, life is what we make it. We can either enjoy it like dancing in the rain or can even take it as a burden. This is what she taught me that day. Its good to be a carefree child at times, and being accompanied by your mom for that, is out of the world feeling. And that day.. it was like.. crazy you and crazy me.. -Pumpkin
