Creative Healing Connections, Inc. presents Adirondack Arts and Healing Retreats August, 2013 Dear Friends of the Arts & Healing Retreat; We would be delighted to send you information about our 15th Annual Fall Adirondack Arts and Healing Retreat at Great Camp Sagamore from Friday, September 20th through Sunday, September 22nd, 2013! We are eager to gather to enjoy the arts, the natural surroundings and each other for a full weekend of healing inspiration. We are very pleased to announce our staff for this year. Joining us are Adirondack musician, Peggy Lynn; storyteller, Fran Yardley; dreamweaver, Wanda Burch; artist extraordinaire, Carol Vossler; Yoga and guided meditation facilitator, Susanne Murtha and Massage therapist, Kathy Knight. Tana Elinski Hare will be returning as our medical consultant. We will lead sessions in songwriting, storytelling, dreamwork, both chair and mat yoga classes and mixed media innovation. Great Camp Sagamore, greatcampsagamore.org, is both a National Historic Landmark and a gracious lodge setting on a wilderness lake. There is no public transportation to and from Sagamore. We will all eat together on Friday night and have our first get-together afterwards. On Saturday after an 8 a.m. breakfast, we will begin storytelling, songwriting and dream workshops, as well as opportunities for accessible, slow and breath oriented yoga and mixed media art. We will meet in the morning, have lunch, meet again and then take an outdoor break in the afternoon. Saturday night after 6 p.m. dinner, we will have our Saturday Evening Pajama Party. Sunday morning after 8 a.m. breakfast, there will be a closing ceremony and then we will say adieu. We still have a few spaces available.
