Creative Movement with Val is a little different than most early childhood dance and music classes. For example, we have no recitals or competitions. Instead, we emphasize rhythm, imagination, improvisation, and our natural physical response to music. Val provides a place for children to move, play, and think in a developmentally appropriate environment. Vals curriculum focuses on encouraging your child’s perceptual motor development through sensory-based, age appropriate activities that help children explore rhythm, coordination, and body awareness. Creative Movement provides an environment where kids can explore and discover just what their bodies can do, without the weight of expectation or a rigid structure. All in response to music!
