Creepy experience this morning: I left Ls school after dropping him off and turned onto a long residential stretch of road. A car in front of me was *crawling*, barely moving. I never tailgate people because I hate when people do it to me. I always assume in these cases that the driver is elderly or lost, trying to peer at street numbers or whatever. The only other lane was for oncoming traffic but I could see that no other cars were coming for several blocks so I went to go around this car. Its pace picked up. I sped up more; she sped up more. I looked at the driver and it was a woman about my age. I was like okay, whatever, and I dropped back behind her. She immediately slowed to a crawl again. WTF could this possibly be about? Are there really people so angry and bored that they make special efforts to randomly madden other drivers theyve never even met? I guess this is the least of whats wrong with the world, but wow.
